270 steps up a winding staircase for

this view.  The next day my thighs hurt every time I went up stairs, but 

it was worth it.  The view was stunning and the cathedral is beautiful even with much of the stained glass being repaired.  We are planning on going to Evensong at Christmas time.  The sound should be fantastic with those cathedral ceilings.
